IQS and this Tech Fest is really important because we need more events dedicated to Industrial startups in Europe. I think when you look at China and the US, there is always a lot of events and lot of things happening. I think now in Europe we don’t have this many gatherings where you can bring together innovators, corporates and people in the ecosystem in general together and I think that’s key, that’s how you build an ecosystem and if you want to build Europe as an ecosystem we need to do more of that.
We want to go to the next level with our all corporation, we want to collaborate with startups, specially when it comes to developing new business models. And we try to understand what’s the quality of the ecosystem, and what kind of investment opportunities are there. That’s why we are in IQS Tech Fest.
IQS Tech Fest is like an oasis in the middle of the dessert. It’s really difficult to find an event related to industrial innovation and entrepreneurship. It’s like a water well to goto drink at, and see interesting technologies, all in one spot.
This festival in Barcelona is important because in order to get together all the
actors in one particular ecosystem but one particular sector you need platforms
like this.
